About
Andrew's clients include schools, community groups, councils, and artists’ agencies, as well as private companies and individuals.
He is involved with social researchers, using art as a tool to bring out and disseminate the ideas and priorities of participants.
Examples of murals painted with disabled people in Bolivia 2006 as part of social research into the lives and aspirations of disabled people appear in the gallery.
Work for public places
Andrew always involves as wide as possible a range of community groups in his work for public places.
He has worked extensively with people of all ages, disabled and non-disabled, from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, and been particularly successful in work with people who face disadvantage, for example children who have been excluded from school.
Andrew handles the entire scope of the project from initial grant application, to liaising with communities, recruiting and supervising volunteers and workers, buying materials, overseeing budgets through to the final presentation and publicity.
Work for private places
Andrew is happy to produce one-off designs for specific places and to consult with the owners and users of those places to ensure that the work fulfills their requirements.
He produces mosaic portraiture to commission.
